Victorian Damask Floral Wallpaper
Victorian Damask floral wallpaper has been on walls since the sixteenth century, and there is a reason it keeps coming back. This pattern takes that long tradition and redraws it from scratch, an interlocking floral damask with the kind of repeat that takes a while to get right. Bold enough to own a room, considered enough not to exhaust it.
Drawn by hand and developed as an original design, the pattern has a clarity and weight that printed reproductions of antique damasks often lose. Each motif locks into the next with a precision that only makes sense once it is up on the wall.
Works well as a statement wall in living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. Bold enough to carry a full room wrap in larger spaces, though most people use it on a single feature wall.
Dusty Pink - A muted, antique rose with a faded quality that keeps it from reading as overtly feminine. Suits quiet luxury interiors, Japandi-influenced rooms, and spaces with warm neutral tones. Works with blush, cream, and aged brass.
Dark Sage Green - A deep, earthy sage with real depth to it. At home in botanical interiors, dark maximalist rooms, and spaces that lean into a Victorian or heritage aesthetic. Works well with dark wood, olive, and antique gold.
Dark Teal Blue - A dark, slightly green-leaning blue that sits between teal and petrol. Suits moody coastal interiors, dark Scandi rooms, and anyone who wants blue without the obvious. Works with warm whites, natural linen, and aged copper.
Dark Brown - A rich, deep brown with warmth in it. Suits farmhouse interiors, warm contemporary rooms, and spaces with leather, aged oak, or terracotta. Grounding and understated.
Caramel Tan - A warm biscuit tan that reads as a neutral in most lights. Suits relaxed contemporary spaces, Mediterranean-influenced interiors, and rooms that want pattern without drama. Works with cream, rust, and warm stone.
Neutral Beige - A soft, warm beige that sits quietly in almost any scheme. Suits coastal grandma interiors, farmhouse rooms, and anyone who wants the structure of a damask without a strong colour commitment. Works with virtually everything.
Available in peel and stick (removable) and traditional paste the wall. Both options are printed to order on quality wallpaper using eco-friendly materials. Roll width is 76cm (30 inches). The motif is large-scale and makes a bold statement, order a sample to see how it sits in your space before committing to a full order.
Colour adjustments are often possible. If you would like to tweak the tone to suit your scheme, just get in touch.
Every design at Summer Skye Studio is drawn and developed by me, Sara. This is an original damask pattern, designed from scratch rather than adapted from archive material. All patterns are copyright Summer Skye Studio.
Not sure which colourway works for your space? Order a sample first. Colours can read quite differently depending on your light and existing tones -- a sample is the most reliable way to check before you order.
Peel & Stick
No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
