General FAQ's
You can order my designs on wallpaper, fabric, and a wide range of home décor items, think cushions, curtains, bedding, and blankets. Wallpaper is available directly here in my shop. For fabric and home décor, I’ll direct you to my Spoonflower shop, where you’ll find all the different bases, weights, and sizes.
Yes, and I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially for wallpaper! Ordering a wallpaper sample is the best way to see the true colour, texture, and finish in your own space and lighting before you commit to full rolls. Every room is different, and screens can’t always capture the subtleties of a design. Samples help you feel confident in your choice and avoid surprises.
Fabric samples are also available and helpful, especially if you want to check the material’s feel and drape.
Absolutely! Whilst I’m not a professional interior designer, I’m always happy to offer friendly, practical advice based on my experience as a surface pattern designer. If you’re unsure about which pattern, colour, or wallpaper type might suit your space, just send me a message with your ideas or photos. I can help you narrow down options, suggest what’s worked well for other customers, and guide you towards a choice you’ll love.
Wallpaper FAQ's
Peel & Stick:
Our peel and stick wallpaper is a versatile, all-rounder choice, perfect for renters, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone looking to refresh their living room, bedroom, nursery, or any space with ease.
Made from 100% polyester woven fabric with a self-adhesive backing, it requires no paste, just peel off and stick directly to your wall. It’s removable, repositionable up to 24hrs, and ideal for smooth or lightly textured walls. This eco-friendly wallpaper is easy to install and remove, making it great for both temporary and long-term décor.
Traditional (Non-Pasted | Paste-the-Wall Wallpaper)
Our traditional wallpaper offers a smooth, matte finish with a classic, durable look. Paste is applied directly to the wall or paper before hanging, making it ideal for a professional-quality finish in living rooms, bedrooms, and other spaces where longevity matters. This option is perfect for those who want a lasting, high-end wallpaper experience.

Absolutely, and I highly recommend it! Ordering a sample lets you see the true colour, texture, and finish in your own space and lighting before you commit to full rolls. Colours can look different in person compared to what you see on a screen, and each room’s lighting, whether it’s north, south, east, or west-facing, or has lots of natural or artificial light, can affect how the wallpaper appears. A swatch helps you feel confident in your choice and avoid surprises.
As a thank you, if you order a swatch and later purchase 2 or more rolls of the same design, I’ll refund your swatch cost
To get the best fit and pattern match, measure your walls carefully:
- Measure the height from the top of the skirting/baseboard to the ceiling or where you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement to ensure full coverage.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern flows smoothly.
- Take measurements at several points along the wall, as ceilings and floors may be uneven.
- Round your measurements up and order all rolls together to ensure they’re printed in the same batch for the closest color match.
Optional tip: Many installers and manufacturers recommend adding an extra 5–10% to your measurements. This helps cover pattern matching, trimming, and any small measuring errors, better safe than sorry!
If you want extra help, just message me your measurements, I’m happy to double-check!
Once you have your wall measurements (width and height), multiply the width by the height to get the total area of the wall you want to cover. For example, a wall that’s 10 feet wide and 8 feet high has an area of 80 square feet.If your room has irregular features like angled ceilings, chimney breasts, or protrusions (like fireplaces), be sure to include those in your measurements by measuring those sections separately and adding them to your total.
Important tips:
- Always use the tallest height measurement along the wall for your calculations, even if some parts are lower (e.g., angled ceilings).
- Avoid mixing different roll heights in one room, as it can disrupt pattern matching and the overall look.
- Round your measurements up slightly to allow for trimming and pattern alignment.
Each wallpaper product listing includes coverage details per roll based on its size and pattern repeat. If you’re unsure or want a second pair of eyes, just send me your wall dimensions, I’m happy to help you work it out!

Yes, Peel & Stick wallpaper is suitable for renters and is fully removable without damaging walls (as long as they’re properly primed or painted). Always check with your landlord and do a patch test if you’re unsure.
Yes, both Peel & Stick and Traditional (Non-Pasted) wallpapers can be used in bathrooms and kitchens, as long as you follow a few important guidelines:
Avoid Direct Water Contact:
Do not apply wallpaper inside a shower, directly next to a bath, or anywhere it will be in constant contact with water.
Apply to a Dry, Clean Wall:
Make sure the wall is completely dry and clean before installation. For Peel & Stick, the surface must be free of moisture for the adhesive to work properly.
Use the Right Paste (Traditional Only):
For Traditional wallpaper, use a paste specifically made for non-woven wallpapers (like Roman PRO-880 Ultra Clear in the US or Metylan Direct in Europe).
Ventilation is Key:
Good ventilation is essential. If your bathroom has poor airflow or is very humid, the wallpaper may not adhere well and could start to peel.
General Advice:
Our wallpapers are suitable for low- to moderate-moisture bathrooms (like powder rooms or half-baths), but not for wet rooms or areas with heavy steam and splashes.
If you’re unsure, feel free to message me with details about your space, I’m happy to advise!
Peel & Stick Wallpaper Installation
- Prepare Your Walls:
Make sure walls are clean, smooth, dry, and free from dust or grease. Peel and stick wallpaper adheres best to primed or painted surfaces without texture. - Gather Your Tools:
You’ll need a utility knife, measuring tape, pencil, smoothing tool or squeegee, and a level. - Measure and Cut:
Measure your wall height and add a few extra inches for trimming. Cut the wallpaper into manageable strips based on your measurements. - Apply the Wallpaper:
Starting at the top of your wall, peel off the backing a few inches at a time and stick the wallpaper onto the wall. Smooth out air bubbles as you go using a squeegee or smoothing tool. - Trim Excess:
Use a sharp utility knife to trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling, baseboards, and corners. - Reposition if Needed:
Peel and stick wallpaper is repositionable within 24 hours, so don’t worry if you need to adjust it slightly after application.
Traditional (Non-Pasted) Wallpaper Installation
- Prepare Your Walls:
Walls should be smooth, clean, and primed. Remove any old wallpaper and repair any surface imperfections. - Gather Your Tools:
You’ll need wallpaper paste (recommended for non-woven wallpaper), a brush or roller to apply paste to the wall, a smoothing tool, utility knife, level, measuring tape, pencil, and sponge. - Measure and Cut:
Measure your wall height and cut wallpaper strips with extra length for trimming. - Apply Paste:
Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the wall using a brush or roller. Avoid applying paste to the wallpaper itself. - Hang the Wallpaper:
Starting at the top, carefully align the wallpaper strip and smooth it onto the pasted wall, removing air bubbles with a smoothing tool. - Trim Excess:
Trim excess wallpaper at edges and corners with a sharp utility knife. - Clean Up:
Wipe away any excess paste with a damp sponge before it dries.
General Tips
- Always work in good lighting to spot air bubbles or misalignment.
- Take your time—patience is key to a smooth, professional finish.
- If you’re unsure or want a flawless result, consider hiring a professional installer.
- For detailed instructions or troubleshooting, feel free to contact me anytime!
Gently wipe your wallpaper with a soft, damp cloth to keep it looking fresh. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the print or surface. For best results, clean up any marks or splashes promptly.
- Peel & Stick Wallpaper: Yes! It’s removable in one piece without damaging walls, as long as the surface was properly primed or painted. This makes it ideal for renters and anyone who likes to refresh their space easily.
- Traditional (Non-Pasted) Wallpaper: Strippable, but removal may require more effort depending on the type of paste used. Follow the removal instructions included with your wallpaper for best results.
