Faux Grasscloth Wallpaper - Woven Texture in Rich Solid Colours

Faux Grasscloth Wallpaper

Real grasscloth is beautiful. It's also expensive, it can't go near a bathroom, and it definitely doesn't come in peel and stick. This faux grasscloth wallpaper is the version that does all three.

It mimics the natural horizontal weave of real grasscloth, that quietly textured, organic quality that makes a room feel considered without being loud. Up close it has depth and character. From across the room it reads as a rich, solid colour with just enough movement to keep it interesting.

Where this faux grasscloth wallpaper works

This is a texture that suits almost any room. It brings warmth to a living room or bedroom and depth to a hallway, and because it's printed rather than woven, this faux grasscloth wallpaper handles the moisture and steam of a bathroom without complaint, exactly where real grasscloth would give up.

Use it as a full room wrap where you want that enveloping, textured feel, or on a single statement wall where you want the depth in one hit. The neutrals sit quietly behind whatever else is in the room, and the deeper shades turn a wall into the feature.

Colourways

Choose from eight solid colourways, each with the same woven texture:

Deep Plum

A rich, dark plum with a moody depth. Striking in a bathroom, a living room, or a hallway where you want a statement wall that does the work quietly.

Dark Teal

A deep, inky teal with cool blue-green undertones. Suits Japandi and coastal-influenced rooms that want depth without warmth.

Dark Brown

A deep, earthy brown with warm undertones, grounding and rich without feeling heavy. At home in farmhouse and rustic rooms and cosy living rooms.

Terracotta

A warm, burnt orange-red with earthy depth. At home in Mediterranean, boho and rustic interiors that feel warm and grounded.

Olive Green

A deeper, earthy olive with warm undertones. Suits boho and Mediterranean-inspired rooms, and spaces that lean into natural styling.

Light Green

A gentle, faded green with a cool, organic quality. Works in Japandi and Scandi-influenced spaces and calm, nature-led bedrooms.

Dusty Pink

A muted, chalky pink with soft warmth. Sits comfortably in Japandi bedrooms and calm, pared-back rooms that lean romantic without shouting about it.

Sandy Beige

A soft, warm neutral with a natural quality. The colourway that goes with almost everything, from coastal to farmhouse to relaxed contemporary.

This faux grasscloth wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.

Wallpaper Types

Peel & Stick

No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.

A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Traditional (Non-Pasted)

The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.

A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Pre-Pasted

The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.

At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully

Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.

• Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
• Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
• Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
• Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
• Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.

Read the full guide here.

Order the right amount

• Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
• Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
• Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
• Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.

Order a sample first

Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.

Colour customisation

If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.

Pattern scale

I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.

Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.

How to request

Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
