The Practical Bits
Japandi Botanical Wallpaper
There is a particular kind of quiet that comes from a room with the right botanical on the wall. A steady, organic presence that makes a space feel considered, and this japandi botanical wallpaper was drawn with exactly that in mind, taking the stylised motifs of Japanese design and grounding them in the restrained palette of Scandinavian interiors.
Hand-drawn with a linen-like texture throughout, the trailing leaves and small lotus flowers have a loose, natural quality. Close up, you can see the hand behind them. If you've been searching for lotus wallpaper with a quieter, more restrained feel, this japandi lotus wallpaper is that pattern.
Where this japandi botanical wallpaper works
This is a pattern for rooms you want to feel settled rather than styled. In a bedroom, the small lotus sprigs read as texture from across the room and reveal their detail up close, which makes it easy to live with day after day. In a living room it holds a feature wall behind a sofa, or wraps the full space as a gentle backdrop. Hallways and bathrooms suit it too, anywhere the aim is calm with a bit of character.
It sits most naturally in Japandi and Scandi-influenced interiors, and it belongs in biophilic schemes, where bringing a sense of nature indoors is the whole point. Use it as a full room wrap where you want the botanical to carry the room, or a single feature wall where you want the japandi botanical wallpaper look in a smaller dose.
Colourways
Choose from six colourways, each with its own feel:
Sage Green
A soft, muted sage on a linen-like ground. The quietest of the six, it lets the lotus motif settle back into the wall, and suits Japandi bedrooms, Scandi living rooms and spaces built around natural materials.
Neutral
A barely-there off-white with just enough depth to read as a colourway. The cream sprigs show as tone-on-tone texture, which is why it works in quiet luxury, Japandi and minimalist rooms where the pattern does the work.
Warm Stone
A greige that reads warmer than grey and cooler than beige. It gives the pattern a settled, earthy base, at home in living rooms and hallways with natural wood and linen tones.
Dusty Pink
A muted, chalky pink. It brings gentle warmth to the design and works in nurseries, bedrooms and contemporary rooms that want colour kept low-key.
Soft Blue
A light, hazy blue that reads calmly in most lights. It lifts the cream sprigs slightly cooler, an airy choice for bedrooms, bathrooms and nurseries.
Warm Beige
A soft beige with genuine warmth in the base. It gives the lotus pattern a cosy, settled feel and suits rooms with warm-toned wood or furniture.
This japandi botanical wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.

Wallpaper Types
Peel & Stick
No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
