The Practical Bits
Limewash Wallpaper
Some walls have a stillness you notice before you can say why. This limewash wallpaper gives a room the soft, clouded finish of hand-applied plaster, with raised ridges and pitted patches that catch the light differently from morning to evening.
The texture is a printed finish, so the surface hangs smooth, and from across the room it reads as a tonal plaster wall. Up close the detail comes through: small raised shapes that settle on the surface like drops of water, with hairline ridges running between them. It is a Japandi, wabi-sabi kind of faux texture, a plaster effect wallpaper that looks all the better for being a little irregular.
Where this limewash wallpaper works
This is limewash wallpaper for rooms that earn their character from tone and texture. It sits quietly behind a bedroom, living room or hallway, leaving oak, linen, ceramics and art to lead, and it suits Japandi, Scandi and relaxed contemporary schemes best. Run it round a whole room for the full plaster-wall effect, or keep it to a single feature wall behind a bed or sofa for a lighter touch.
The lighter colourways make an easy home for a kitchen or home office, and the deeper ones suit a snug, study or dining room. If the Venetian plaster look is what you are after, the texture here gives you that soft, mottled depth on a roll. The peel and stick and pre-pasted formats are moisture-resistant, so a bathroom or kitchen works too.
Colourways
Choose from six colourways, each with its own feel:
Warm Beige
A soft, sandy beige with warm, chalky undertones. At the heart of the Japandi look, this beige limewash wallpaper settles into a bedroom or living room alongside pale wood, rattan and natural linen.
Light Grey
A light, cool grey with a pale, chalky depth. A neutral choice with a little coolness in it, this grey limewash wallpaper suits a Japandi or Scandi living room, a home office or a kitchen.
Grey Blue
A misty, cool blue with a grey undertone, like early light over water. This blue limewash wallpaper is at home in a bathroom or kitchen, where it sits happily alongside tiles and white fittings.
Sage Green
A muted, earthy sage with a soft grey edge. A green limewash wallpaper for an earthy bedroom or living room, and one of the gentler Japandi tones alongside warm beige and light grey.
Earthy Brown
A deep, earthy brown with taupe running through it. This brown limewash wallpaper gives a rustic bedroom or living room real warmth, and sits comfortably with oak, leather and wool.
Charcoal Black
A near-black charcoal with real weight, where the texture catches the light and gives the wall depth. A black limewash wallpaper for a moody, dramatic room: a study, a snug, a dining room or a bedroom feature wall.
This limewash wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.
Every design can be recoloured for free. Send me your paint code and I'll adjust the artwork to match your room before it prints. You'll get a digital preview first.

Wallpaper Types
Peel & Stick
No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
