The Practical Bits
Art Nouveau Trellis Wallpaper
There's a calm order to a trellis done well. This art nouveau trellis wallpaper takes the arched, interlacing lines of the style and pares them right back, so you get the structure and the heritage character without the busy, crowded florals that usually come with it. Modern art nouveau, in other words: the bones of the period, none of the clutter.
Hand-drawn and printed on a linen-effect base, the art nouveau trellis wallpaper has a soft, tactile depth that flat digital prints never quite manage. Up close, the slim vine lines and small floral sprigs show their hand-drawn edge, gentle and organic rather than rigid.
Where this art nouveau trellis wallpaper works
The structure is what makes this one so easy to live with. In a hallway, the vertical trellis draws the eye up and gives a narrow, awkward space some height and direction. In a living room it holds a feature wall behind a sofa, or wraps the whole room as a quiet backdrop with rhythm rather than noise. Bedrooms suit it too, where the floral trellis softens the walls without tipping into fussy.
It sits most naturally in a modern heritage or period scheme, the kind of room that wants a nod to the past without feeling like a museum. But because the lattice is pared back and the palette is soft, this art nouveau floral wallpaper settles just as comfortably into a contemporary or Japandi space. Use it as a full room wrap where you want commitment, or a single feature wall where you want the look in smaller doses.
Colourways
Choose from three colourways, each with its own feel:
Duck Egg Blue
A muted, grey-toned blue with a calm, settled quality, and the studio's most popular of the three. At home in relaxed coastal rooms, Japandi interiors, and contemporary spaces that want pattern without the noise.
Sage Green
A soft, earthy green with a natural, organic feel. Suits botanical, quiet luxury, and period-leaning rooms, and works well in a calm living room or a restful bedroom.
Soft Beige
A warm, neutral beige with a linen-like quality. At home in farmhouse and relaxed contemporary interiors, and particularly good in hallways and entrance spaces where you want a bit of warmth.
This art nouveau trellis wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.
If you'd like the trellis in a different tone to suit your space, every design can be recoloured for free. Send me your paint code and I'll adjust the artwork to match your room before it prints.
Every design at Summer Skye Studio is drawn and developed by me, Sara. Original artwork, and all patterns are copyright Summer Skye Studio.

Wallpaper Types
Peel & Stick
No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
