Concrete Effect Wallpaper: Faux Concrete Look Design

Concrete Effect Wallpaper

There's something quietly confident about a concrete wall. Raw and unhurried, it doesn't try to impress, it just is. This concrete effect wallpaper gives you all of that character, the printed version of aged, speckled concrete, without the dust, the weight or the structural survey.

The texture is irregular and organic, so this concrete effect wallpaper shifts with the light through the day, which is half the appeal. It's a flat print rather than a tactile surface, so what you get is the concrete look, not the cold, rough feel of the real thing.

Where this concrete effect wallpaper works

It's a quiet, grown-up backdrop for a modern room. This concrete effect wallpaper suits industrial, brutalist and Scandi schemes, and it's just as at home softening a warm, contemporary living room or bedroom. The mid grey and charcoal lean urban and moody; the beige and brown keep things warmer.

Run it across a whole room for a full concrete-wall effect, or hold it to a single feature wall. The peel and stick and pre-pasted formats are moisture-resistant, which makes this a genuine concrete wallpaper option for a bathroom or cloakroom, exactly where real concrete would be a lot of effort.

Colourways

Choose from four colourways, each with its own speckled concrete character:

Soft Beige

A warm, sandy grey with enough softness to keep the concrete from feeling cold. At home in Japandi and warm contemporary rooms, and a good pick for a north-facing space that needs warmth without colour.

Mid Grey

A cooler, true mid-grey flecked with dark and light. Clean and unfussy, at home in modern, urban, industrial and Scandi rooms, and in a bathroom where you want the walls to do the work quietly.

Warm Brown

A deeper, earthier tone with brown and taupe running through it. Grounding and cosy, at home in boho and rustic rooms, and lovely alongside natural wood and woven textures.

Charcoal

A near-black with dark grey depth and real weight. Confident on a feature wall in a bathroom, bedroom or dining room, and made for brutalist, industrial and moody contemporary spaces.

This concrete effect wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.

If the tone isn't quite right, every design can be recoloured for free. Send me your paint code and I'll adjust the artwork to match your room before it prints. Just use the custom request page.

Wallpaper Types

Peel & Stick

No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.

A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Traditional (Non-Pasted)

The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.

A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Pre-Pasted

The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.

At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully

Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.

• Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
• Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
• Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
• Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
• Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.

Read the full guide here.

Order the right amount

• Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
• Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
• Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
• Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.

Order a sample first

Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.

Colour customisation

If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.

Pattern scale

I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.

Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.

How to request

Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
