The Practical Bits
Retro Pebble Wallpaper
There's something quietly confident about pebble wallpaper. Rows of hand-drawn pebbles stack into a vertical stripe, giving the pattern a retro, mid-century feel" becomes "giving the pattern the retro feel of 1950s and 60s design, without shouting for attention. It's the kind of pebble wallpaper that brings rhythm to a room rather than dominating it, with colourways that carry the warmth.
Each pebble shape is drawn by hand, so the stripe has a slightly imperfect, organic edge rather than a rigid, machine-printed line. That hand-drawn quality is what gives this pebble wallpaper its texture and character on the wall, especially up close, where the retro pebble wallpaper pattern really shows its detail.
Where this Retro Pebble Wallpaper Works
The pebble wallpaper pattern earns its place in rooms you want to feel considered rather than loud. If you're after a retro bedroom, the vertical stripe brings that mid-century character. Calm enough to live with, characterful enough to notice. In a living room, it holds a feature wall behind a sofa or runs the full space as a backdrop with rhythm. Hallways are where a stripe like this really works, drawing the eye along and giving an awkward, narrow space some direction and height.
It suits a mid-century or retro scheme most naturally, but the pebble wallpaper shapes keep it softer and more organic than a hard geometric stripe, so it settles just as easily into a relaxed, contemporary room. Use it as a full room wrap where you want commitment, or a single feature wall where you want the retro look in smaller doses.
Colourways
Choose from six colourways, each with its own feel:
Terracotta Orange
A sun-baked orange straight from the mid-century palette. The warmest of the six, and the one that makes the stripe feel most retro. Strong in a living room or hallway.
Charcoal Black
A near-black charcoal that turns the stripe graphic and moody. Grounds a study or sits behind a bed, and suits rooms that lean darker and more deliberate.
Sage Green
A muted green with proper mid-century pedigree; this is the colour of fifties kitchens and Ercol sideboards. Calm on the wall, and easy to live with in a bedroom or nursery.
Light Blue
A soft blue that keeps the stripe airy and understated. The gentlest of the six, at home in calm bedrooms and nurseries.
Neutral Beige
A warm neutral that lets the pattern do the talking. The most flexible of the six, working from a living room to a landing without asking the rest of the room to change.
Mustard Yellow
The most confidently mid-century of the lot" becomes "The most confidently 1960s of the lot. Made for an eclectic living room or a feature wall that wants some warmth.

No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
