Peony Flower Wallpaper: Trailing Arts and Crafts Floral

Peony Flower Wallpaper

This peony flower wallpaper sends soft peony blooms climbing up trailing stems, a romantic, flowing floral with real movement. Drawn with the loose, hand-worked feel of an arts and crafts pattern, it has a gentle, old-fashioned romance without feeling heavy.

Each flower and leaf is drawn by hand on a soft, linen-textured ground, so the trailing floral has a natural, sketched quality up close. It gives this peony flower wallpaper a handmade warmth, the kind of pattern that makes a room feel gathered and lived-in.

Where this peony flower wallpaper works

The peony flower wallpaper earns its place in rooms you want to feel warm and characterful. It is lovely in a cottage or grandmillennial scheme, a hallway, a bedroom or a dining room, and it holds a feature wall as beautifully as it wraps a whole space. The vertical, climbing stems draw the eye upward, which lifts a low ceiling or a small room.

It is a properly versatile floral. In the paler shades it reads classic and romantic, all cottage prettiness; in the deep plum, navy and charcoal it turns moody and dramatic, that rich, enveloping look so many people want right now. Same flowing peony, two very different moods.

Colourways

Choose from six colourways, each with its own feel:

Blush Pink

Soft pink peonies with sage green leaves on a warm cream ground. The most classic and cottage of the six, romantic and flowing. At home in a bedroom, nursery or a gently traditional room.

Terracotta Red

Rich red peonies with green foliage on cream. Bold and cheerful, with a folk, arts and crafts feel. Lovely in a hallway or a characterful dining room.

Yellow and Green

Golden mustard blooms with sage leaves on cream. Warm and sunny with a vintage edge, at home in a kitchen, study or hallway.

Deep Plum

Soft pink peonies on a deep wine plum ground. The most romantic of the moody shades, rich and enveloping, made for a dining room, snug or bedroom feature wall.

Navy Blue

Golden peonies and cream foliage on a deep navy ground. Confident and elegant, striking in a hallway, dining room or a bold bedroom.

Charcoal Grey

Pale blue-grey peonies with cream leaves on a smoky charcoal ground. The moodiest of the six, dramatic and modern, at home in a contemporary or dark, cocooning scheme.

This peony flower wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper with GreenGuard-certified inks.

If you would like the peonies in a different tone to suit your space, every design can be recoloured for free. Send me your paint code and I will match the artwork to your room before it prints. Scaling can be adjusted too, just ask.

Wallpaper Types

Peel & Stick

No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.

A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Traditional (Non-Pasted)

The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.

A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Pre-Pasted

The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.

At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully

Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.

• Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
• Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
• Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
• Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
• Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.

Read the full guide here.

Order the right amount

• Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
• Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
• Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
• Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.

Order a sample first

Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.

Colour customisation

If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.

Pattern scale

I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.

Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.

How to request

Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
