Rectangular Wallpaper- Bold Staggered Block Design with Linen Texture

This rectangular wallpaper gives a room structure rather than filling it. Rows of blocks stack and shift at each row, so the eye travels sideways as much as up, and the wall reads as considered rather than busy, with rhythm built into the repeat.

Each block carries a linen texture, which takes the hard edge off what could easily be a flat graphic print. Up close you see the weave. From across the room you see the grid. That texture is what stops this rectangular wallpaper reading as plastic, and it is why the bolder colourways stay warm rather than turning brash.

Where this rectangular wallpaper works

The staggered block layout does something useful in awkward rooms. A bathroom, where the pattern sits behind a basin or mirror and does the work a tiled splashback would do, without the grout. A kitchen, run above the counter as a backsplash panel. Hallways, where the sideways shift of the blocks pulls the eye along a narrow space. It holds a full room wrap in a bedroom or a living room, and it is confident enough to carry a single feature wall on its own.

It sits most naturally in a retro or mid-century scheme, where the block geometry belongs. The linen texture gives it enough softness to settle into a contemporary room too, and the calmer colourways move it toward Japandi and Scandi territory. Burgundy & Raspberry Pink

Deep burgundy and a clear raspberry red, set against a soft apricot ground that warms the whole pattern. The most confident of the five, at home in a quiet luxury bedroom or a maximalist living room.

Navy & Teal

A deep navy blue with a cool teal, broken up by cream. The teal keeps it from going heavy, and the blue and cream reading makes it a natural fit for a coastal bathroom or a calm contemporary bedroom.

Sage Green & Cream

A muted sage green with warm khaki and cream. The quietest colourway of the five. Suits Japandi interiors, Scandi-influenced rooms, and spaces where the pattern should hold the wall rather than announce it.

Chocolate Brown & Tan

Warm chocolate brown with tan and cream. Earthy and rustic, and at home in a farmhouse kitchen, a cosy snug, or a hallway that wants some grounding.

Coral & Amber

Coral pink and amber orange on a pale cream ground. Properly retro, with a 1970s warmth to it. Made for a boho living room, a cloakroom with personality, or a kitchen backsplash that earns a second look.

This rectangular wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper.

Wallpaper Types

Peel & Stick

No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.

A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Traditional (Non-Pasted)

The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.

A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Pre-Pasted

The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.

At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.

Returns and cancellations

• Returns are accepted for printing errors or damage on arrival.
• If something isn't right when it arrives, send me a photo and I'll get it sorted. The sooner the better, and within 30 days of delivery.

Changed your mind?

Nothing goes to print for 3 hours after you order, so get in touch within that window and I'll cancel and refund in full, no questions asked. This is in addition to any statutory rights you have.

Measure your walls carefully

Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.

• Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
• Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
• Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
• Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
• Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.

Order the right amount

• Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
• Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
• Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.

Order a sample first

Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.

Colour customisation

If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.

Pattern scale

I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.

Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
