The Practical Bits
Woodland Nursery Wallpaper
This woodland nursery wallpaper brings a little friendly forest to the wall, hand-drawn deer and foxes wandering between soft trees and tiny flowers. It is gentle and characterful, the kind of scene a small child can get lost in at bedtime.
Every animal and tree is drawn by hand, with gentle, muted colours on a lightly speckled, textured ground. That soft palette is what makes this woodland nursery wallpaper so easy to live with, a calm, soothing woodland animals design that grows beautifully from cot to first big bed.
Where this woodland nursery wallpaper works
The woodland nursery wallpaper is made for a nursery first and foremost, calm enough to settle a baby and sweet enough to delight a toddler. It is just as lovely in a child's bedroom or a playroom, and it holds a single feature wall behind a cot as happily as it wraps a whole room. Little ones love spotting the animals, so it earns its keep for years.
The soft, muted palette gives it a Scandi, boho feel that suits a modern nursery beautifully. The green and blue are lovely gender-neutral choices, the pink and lilac bring a gentle warmth, and every colourway keeps those friendly forest animals front and centre.
Colourways
Choose from four colourways, each with its own feel:
Green
Soft sage and moss greens on a warm cream ground. Fresh and calming, and a lovely gender-neutral choice for any nursery.
Pink
Gentle dusky pinks with warm brown animals. Sweet without turning sugary, at home in a soft nursery or a little one's bedroom.
Lilac
Muted lilac and grey tones, calm and a little dreamy. Soothing in a nursery and easy to carry into a bigger child's room.
Blue
Soft, chalky blues with golden touches. A calm, gender-neutral choice, lovely in a boy's room or a fresh, coastal-leaning nursery.
This woodland nursery wallpaper is available in peel and stick, traditional non-pasted, and pre-pasted. All printed to order on PVC-free paper with GreenGuard-certified inks, safe for nurseries and children's rooms.
If you would like the forest in a different tone to suit your space, every design can be recoloured for free. Send me your paint code and I will match the artwork to your room before it prints. Scaling can be adjusted too, just ask.
Every design at Summer Skye Studio is drawn and developed by me, Sara. Original artwork, and all patterns are copyright Summer Skye Studio.
Not sure which colourway suits the room? Order a sample of this woodland nursery wallpaper first. Colours like these shift with your light and the tones already in the room, and a sample is the honest way to find out.
Wallpaper Types
Peel & Stick
No paste, no fuss. Made from 100% woven polyester fabric at 275gsm (370gsm including the peel-off liner), it has a soft, fabric-like feel and a matte woven texture. Self-adhesive, repositionable for up to 24 hours after hanging, and removes cleanly in one piece.
A good choice for renters, first-timers, and anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing finish. Works in bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Traditional (Non-Pasted)
The classic option for a long-lasting, permanent finish. Non-woven fabric at 190gsm with a smooth matte surface. Apply paste to the wall, hang the panel, trim if needed.
A good choice for full room makeovers and anyone wanting a finish that's built to stay. Best on smooth, dry walls. Not recommended for bathrooms or humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.
Pre-Pasted
The middle ground between traditional and peel and stick. You get a permanent finish without the paste. The adhesive is already on the paper, activated with a damp roller or sponge.
At 300gsm it has a fine embossed texture and a premium matte feel. Repositionable while the adhesive is still wet, and suitable for bathrooms and moderately humid spaces. Not suitable for heavily textured walls.
PVC-free, GreenGuard certified, printed with UV inks.

Measure your walls carefully
Colours and pattern flow depend on getting this right, so it's worth taking your time.
- Measure height from skirting board to ceiling, or wherever you want the wallpaper to end.
- Measure the width of each wall you plan to cover.
- Use the tallest height measurement across the whole project.
- Include doors, windows, and architectural features so the pattern runs correctly around them.
- Take several measurements along each wall. Ceilings and floors are often uneven.
Read the full guide here.
Order the right amount
- Multiply your wall area by the coverage per roll to estimate how many you need.
- Choose one roll size and stick with it throughout the project for consistent pattern matching.
- Round up and order all rolls at once. Same batch means the closest colour match across panels.
- Not sure? Just message me and I'll help you work it out.
Order a sample first
Screens and room lighting both affect how colours read. A sample is the simplest way to check colour, scale, and finish in your own space before committing.
Colour customisation
If the design is almost right but the colour isn't quite there, just ask. I can adjust the palette to match your paint colour, existing décor, or anything else you're working with.
Pattern scale
I can also adjust the scale of a pattern to suit your space, larger, smaller, or as shown. For more significant design edits, a small design fee may apply, but I'll always be upfront about that before anything is confirmed.
Either way, you'll receive a digital preview to approve before your order is placed. No surprises.
How to request
Use the customisation request form to send me your colour or scale preferences. I'll come back to you with a preview and confirm any costs if relevant. Once you're happy, we'll get your order processed.
